Meet Eddie Bittner, Your Home Inspector
I’m Eddie Bittner, Certified Master Inspector® (opens in a new tab) and owner of Infinity Home Inspection. I personally perform every home inspection, drawing on 25 years of industrial maintenance experience.
Infinity is veteran-owned and serves buyers and homeowners across Owensboro, Western Kentucky, and Southern Indiana. When you book a home inspection with Infinity, you work directly with me.
Straightforward Explanations
I’ll explain what I find in straightforward terms, so you understand the concerns, the inspection’s limits, and what may need further evaluation. Your report gives you a clear record to review and discuss.
Every home has its own history of construction, maintenance, and repairs. I focus on the property in front of me and document the visible conditions within the inspection’s scope.
Experience and Qualifications

For Kentucky homes, I follow the InterNACHI Home Inspection Standards of Practice. For Indiana homes, I follow Indiana’s minimum standards of competent performance, 878 IAC 1-2-1. My inspections are non-invasive, visual examinations of accessible areas, with inspection limits identified rather than hidden behind a promise that every problem can be found.
Outside of Work
Outside of work, I enjoy kayaking, backpacking, and spending time with my Great Dane, Jaxon. I’m also a self-described tech geek who enjoys exploring new technology.
A Clearer View of Hard-to-Reach Areas
Our Wombat Crawlbot can provide a camera view beneath the home where conditions allow, helping me evaluate and document visible crawlspace conditions when direct access is unsafe or difficult. Access and visibility limitations still apply. I use drone imagery to help evaluate visible roof conditions when safe access is limited. Access, weather, and flight restrictions can affect what is possible.
Technology supports the inspection and the explanation of its findings. It does not remove access limitations or replace further evaluation when a concern needs a specialist.
