Questions Before You Schedule
What does a home inspection cover?
Infinity’s home inspection is a non-invasive, visual examination of accessible areas. It covers the roof, exterior, structure, heating and cooling, plumbing, electrical, fireplace, attic, insulation and ventilation, and interior, including doors and windows. Kentucky inspections follow the InterNACHI Standards of Practice; Indiana inspections follow the Indiana minimum standards of competent performance (878 IAC 1-2-1).
Are mold testing and termite inspections included?
No. Mold testing and termite/wood-destroying insect inspections are separate add-on services. Request them when scheduling, and confirm any documentation your transaction requires.
How will I receive my report?
Your home-inspection report is delivered digitally through Spectora. If you book mold testing, laboratory results are provided separately from the home-inspection report.
Does a home inspection give the house a pass or fail?
No. A home inspection describes the home’s condition within the inspection’s scope. It identifies concerns and may recommend further evaluation; it is not a pass-or-fail certificate.
What if part of the home cannot be accessed?
Access and conditions can limit the inspection. Crawlspace robotics and drone imagery can help in suitable situations, but they cannot make every area accessible. Mention known access concerns when scheduling.
